Mary Taylor, a winemaker with over 20 years in the industry, created the “White Label” series to simplify Europe’s “place name” system for American consumers, highlighting wines by region rather than varietal. Her Beaujolais-Villages 2021, crafted at Vins Descombe in Brouilly, is hand-harvested and slowly vinified in the Burgundian style. The result is a ripe, soft wine with warm tannins, red fruit, rooty notes, and a crisp, mineral finish.
