This 2021 version of their entry tier “Maggiorina” is composed mostly of Nebbiolo, Croatina, with Vespolina and nine other varieties in tiny amounts. The recipe yields sublime aromas of fresh picked cherries, anise, and tangerine with a light dusting of dry soil. The palate is fresh, silky and bright with a quick, firm handshake of tannins on the finish to remind you to keep eating your fresh mushroom pasta dish.
