One third each Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache, grown in blue and yellow limestone and quartz soils. Macerated for two weeks with regular pump overs and push downs. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel. Unfined and unfiltered. Deep crimson in the glass. It smells subtly of dark berries and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is aromatically much more impressive and plays the full range of aromas from dried sloe to aronia to rosemary and thyme as well as wet lime.
