Sourced from a three-hectare plot of old vines on the gravelly terraces of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Les Mauguerets thrives on a challenging yet expressive terroir. Hand-harvested and meticulously sorted, the grapes undergo traditional foot treading and extended maceration to enhance extraction, followed by a year-long aging in large wooden foudres. The result is a deep, brilliant red wine with ripe fruit aromas, silky tannins, and a rich, concentrated finish. Ideal with sauced white meats, duck breast, or classic Loire Valley goat cheeses.
