Fermentations with lengthy stays on the skins followed by aging in oak casks produce an intensely red wine with slight hints of garnet. Bright acidity and taut, fine-grained tannins provide the framework. A complex nose of ripe red fruit and spicy overtones, and a warm, mouth-filling flavor with soft tannins, great elegance and an excellent finish.
