Plavac Mali is a relative of Zinfandel that is the prized grape of Croatia. The Bura is a blend of both this dark and rich red as well as Marselan (which is also in the Fenouillet Vaucluse!) and Cabernet. Aromas of plum, red currant and blackberry are followed by herbaceous notes of fennel and thyme. Mouth-watering acidity, sweet tannins and thickened, earthy fruitiness create an expressive, terroir-driven and balanced wine that will compliment a variety of dishes.
