The Itata wine region is a historic and emerging area in Chile known for its rugged terrain, ancient vines, and traditional winemaking techniques producing distinctive, terroir-driven wines. Las Curvas is a single vineyard planted in 1940 on Granite soils. It's pure, with light grainy tannin, and mineral and earthy notes underneath pretty red fruits. The wines are made very simply; they are pressed, fermented naturally in concrete vessels and bottled without filtration.
