A classic that’s coming back into vogue for having changed absolutely nothing at all. 14 years is a long time to wait for something, but that’s just the way Oban likes it - there’s no 8 or 10 or 12 year bottling. Classic highland richness with just a hint more smoke than say, Glenmorangie - a great balance of flavor without getting into the aggressively peated tones of Islay.
A hint of peat smoke, combined with a salty maritime flavour. Citrus orangey notes are also present in both the nose and on the palate, and the sweeter honeyed notes give our malt a smooth silky finish.
