This is deep- end orange: no filtering or fining, no sulfites added, wild ferment, and organic grapes. 9 weeks skin contact. Chenin as orange is a perfect marriage - all of the subtle hints in this non-citrus-forward varietal get amped up into a wild party as an orange. Complex aromas of exotic fruits, apricot, honey glazed nuts, and kumquat marmalade (but body still drinks clean and quaffable). Layers of ripe fruit with chalk-like minerality and rampant acidity keep things vivid. One to keep chilled throughout (or just drink it quickly in the first place).
